Restore Your Memories website design case study

Photo Restoration, Emerald Lakes, Gold Coast

The challenge

Most people with a shoebox of old photos have never paid to have one restored, and they worry about two things: handing over an irreplaceable original, and not knowing what it will cost. The site had to answer both before anyone would ask for a quote, while working as a test bed for a brand new service I wanted to try out alongside Blue Nova.

Our approach

The page opens on a real before and after rather than a stock image, and visitors can tap the kind of damage their photo has (faded, discoloured, torn and creased, or water damaged) to see a matching example. The process is cut down to three steps, starting with a phone photo so the original never has to leave the house. Pricing sits on the page in plain numbers, with a launch offer for the first 25 customers, and each damage type has its own page so the site can be found by people searching for that specific problem. It also includes short guides on photographing and storing old photos.

The results

Restore Your Memories is live at restoreyourmemories.au and taking quote requests from across Australia. As a portfolio piece it shows the kind of focused, single-purpose landing page Blue Nova can build for a new service: one clear offer, honest pricing and a low-commitment first step.
